Assam: KMSS, Aasu lead statewide stir against rising prices of essential commodities

Several organisations, including All Assam Students’ Union (Aasu) and Krishak Mukti Sangram Samiti (KMSS), staged massive protests over the rising prices of potatoes and onion, which were recently excluded from the list of essential commodities list, and other vegetables.
