City, North Guwahati to be seven minutes apart soon as work on bridge kicks off

Travel to North Guwahati will soon get easier as Assam Lok Nirman Bibhag minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Thursday kicked off construction work of a bridge over the Brahmaputra that connects the metropolitan area with its satellite city. This is the seventh bridge over the Brahmaputra in the state and the second in the city.
