The SM Dev Civil Hospital, Silchar, known to most as Silchar civil hospital, completed 100 years on Monday. The foundation stone of the hospital, which now serves hundreds on a daily basis, was laid on November 2, 1920 by Frederick John Napier, the Viceroy of British India.
