A total of 55 centrally protected monuments and sites, including the historic Rang Ghar and Gaurisagar tank in Sivasagar district, and one museum in Assam, have been shut for visitors till May 15 or until further orders by the Archeological Survey of India (ASI) following the rise in Covid-19 positive cases across the state.from
