Residents of Guwahati ditch the car as petrol prices hit a century

The spiraling price of petrol has forced the residents of the capital city of Assam to adopt drastic cost-cutting measures. The price of premium petrol hit a century in the city on Wednesday while it crossed the 100-rupee mark in a few other districts on Sunday.
