Assam government on Saturday announced that the six Assam Police officer and personnel who were killed by Mizoram Police in the inter-state border flare-up between the two states on July 26 will be posthumously conferred ‘ Chief Minister’s Special Service Medal in a Crisis Situation’ on Independence Day on Sunday.
