After signing two agreements with Nagaland and Mizoram within a span of five days that has diffused tension on the disputed borders with the two neighbouring states, Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma on Friday sat with his Meghalaya counterpart Conrad K Sangma here and agreed to settle disputes between the two states in a phased manner, and with “mutual respect.”
