Alemtemshi addressing the corporate from all the Northeast States, participating at the one day workshop of the NEW CSR Forum held at Guwahati on February 26.
Dimapur, February 27 (MExN): Alemtemshi Jamir, CEO, Investment & Development Authority of Nagaland (IDAN) called upon the corporate of all the Northeast States to give back to society in a focused manner so that it will have a positive impact in improving the lives of the people as well as conserve and protect the environment.
Speaking as the chief guest during the one day workshop of the Northeast Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) forum held at the Taj Vivanta, Guwahati on February 26, Jamir reminded the gathering that economic inequalities led to social injustice and said the corporate driven by profit have caused large scale catastrophe for which nature will never forgive us.
The Forum was hosted by the Dalmia Foundation, with participation from all over the Northeast. During the programme the CSR Heads of many corporate deliberated on the challenges of implementing CSR in the Northeast with a view to improve the position in the coming years.
