Peren, February 27 (MExN): Farewell and welcoming programme of DC Peren was held on February 26 at DC’s Conference hall, New Complex Peren under the chairmanship of Shukalu Chishi, EAC Hq Peren.
Outgoing DC S Tainiu, in her address to the gathering stated that her short stay in Peren district will be cherished with commendable memories. She also added that sweet and smooth flow of discharging her duties as DC Peren was because of District Administrative officers, DBs, DPDB Members, Police Department, HOD, NGOs, public leaders who helped in every possible way to work in team spirit. She acknowledged all the people with whom she has worked in the district during her stay, and assured all possible help to the people of the district even though she is transferred.
Incoming DC Sarita Yadav, in her address assured all possible help to the people of the district and appealed for support and cooperation from the public on all fronts. Rumbemo Kithan EAC Peren, Dr Tinojongshi ADC Jalukie also spoke on the occasion. Dr Sentitula also spoke on behalf of DPDB. Others who spoke on the occasion were Namtsi PA to DC, Joshua President Zeliangrong Baudi, Zeliangrong Mipui Organisation, Peren Town Women Welfare Organization, President Zeme Council where all the members described outgoing DC Tainiu as open to criticism, unbiased, speaking the truth, sincere and clarity in her services and a lady of principle above everything.
