A man was trampled to death by a wild elephant at Balijan Nepali Gaon in Digboi in upper Assam’s Tinsukia district on Sunday.The deceased person has been identified as Nirmal Singh Chetry (71). The incident took place when he went to cut grass for feeding his goats in the morning.
