Police on Friday detained a youth for allegedly attempting to rape a pregnant woman and kicking her in the abdomen when she tried to escape in the Bagharbari area here on Wednesday evening.The accused was identified as Mohamed Mustaq, a resident of lower Assam’s Dhubri district.
