Protests over two missing students in Manipur turned violent for the second day, with an angry mob torching a BJP office and several students being injured in clashes with security forces. Chief Minister N Biren Singh blamed militants for the killing of a 17-year-old girl and a 20-year-old boy, and a CBI team has been assigned to investigate the case. The clashes led to the imposition of curfew in the twin districts of Imphal. A CBI team has arrived to probe the incident, focusing on the last known location of the missing students' mobile phones.
