The Tezu airport in Arunachal Pradesh, India, has been revamped and will be inaugurated by Union civil aviation minister Jyotiraditya M Scindia and Arunachal Pradesh CM Pema Khandu on September 24. The infrastructure development includes an extended runway, a new apron, terminal building, and a fire station-cum-ATC tower. The upgraded airport aims to increase tourist footfall to the region and boost trade and employment generation. It currently operates scheduled flights to Dibrugarh, Imphal, and Guwahati.
