The Kiphire District Legal Services Authority organised a Programme for the Legal Literacy Club in Schools to participate in NSLSA theme song competition followed by a Legal Literacy session on Childs Rights for the students of Kiphire District on February 26.
EL-Beth School, Agape School and Cambridge School were declared first, second and third respectively at the Kiphire District Legal Service Authority (DLSA) theme song competition held at Hopongkyu Memorial hall.
Hotingkiu, Panel Lawyer who was the resource person spoke on ‘legal awareness on child right.’ he also shared on the issues of Juvenile Justice Act. The resource person also advised the students to be responsible citizens by knowing the rights and advised to be responsible with the rights.
Hotingkiu also asked the students to give ones best in studies so that their dreams come true with hard work and dedication.
Khiapong, PLV welcomed the gathering. The winners were awarded cash and certificate. The programme was attended by 88 students and five teacher in-charge for Legal Literacy Club (LLC).
