Dimapur, February 24 (MExN): IQAC Research Cell of Unity College conducted a Faculty Enhancement Programme on February 22. The resource person was Dr Somnath Bhattacharje, Assistant Professor, Department of Anthropology, Assam University, Diphu Campus, Karbi Anglong. He spoke on research and consultancy, identified various funding agencies, and also stressed on the need for faculty members to be academically active by undertaking various research projects, participations in seminars and workshops. The aspect of undertaking such activities not only enhanced a faculty’s credential but also positively impacts an institution’s credential, the release noted. The programme was chaired by Dr Adani Ngullie, member of IQAC Research Cell of Unity College.
