DIMAPUR, FEBRUARY 24 (MExN): The All Sand Mohaldar Committee (ASMC) held a meeting on February 24 at Manja and discussed at length on issue related to sand rate. A press note issued by ASMC president Ganish Teron and general secretary Roshon Timung stated that while acknowledging the good relationship with the drivers and owners of Dimapur, the Mohaldars have agreed to take the previous rate i.e. Rs 22 per cft. Moreover, the Committee has informed the drivers and owners of sand suppliers that the office of ASMC has been opened at Amlokhi Bazar under Karbi Anglong East and West Division. So in the event of any difficulty, the drivers and owners can report at the office, which will open and resume with effect from February 26.
