CVYS impose ban on hunting and fishing

Dimapur, February 1 (MExN): The Chümoukedima Village Youth Society (CVYS) has informed the general public on its resolution to strictly ban all kinds of hunting and fishing in and within the village jurisdiction. Violators will be apprehended and a fine upto Rs. 1,00,000/- (one lakh) will be imposed depending on the severity of the violation and damages.


Also any kind of fishing, picnicking at Khuovarü is strictly prohibited effective immediately from the release of this press release, stated the CVYS president Kedovikho Visezo and General Secretary Rokoviko Thepa.


The public are advised take note of the following strictures within the jurisdiction: Desist from igniting jungle burning wild fires; Picnicking without permission from the youth office in any forest areas & rivers within the jurisdiction of the Chümoukedima Village; Carrying any type of guns; Collecting firewood and fodder feeds; and Unauthorized door to door business, scrap business etc.


“If any defaulters are apprehended in violation of the above stricture, the person/party shall be solely responsible for the unheeded act and shall be penalized and dealt with as per the standing resolution,” the society added.


Further CVYS informs that youth volunteers will keep regular vigil to prevent any miscreants and anti-socials from disturbing the peaceful atmosphere in the village jurisdiction, as such, have advice people to avoid loitering around in the village vicinity after 8:00 pm without genuine reasons.

Issuance of challan-receipt for cattle, renewal of license

Meanwhile, the Chümoukedima Village Youth Society (CVYS) in another press release has informed all concerned non-local residing within Chümoukedima village jurisdiction that the issuance of challan-receipt for cattle reaming and renewal of tenancy card/trade license (2017-2018 session) will commence from March 12 to 28 within the CVYS office premises starting from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.


All tenacy card/trade license holders are asked to bring two passport size photos with NRC compulsorily.


The citizens concerned are requested to do the needful and obtain the necessary penalty. Failing to do without genuine and proper reason the authority will take its own course of action without warning.
