In Dibrugarh, police arrested a notorious drug peddler and seized 58 grams of heroin from a shack near the Dibrugarh town protection dtp dyke. The drug peddler was identified as Salim Hussain alias Guddu. Police say a case has been registered against him at the Dibrugarh police station under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances NDPS Act 1985. Police say their war against drugs will continue so far, and they have held many drug peddlers and traffickers from Dibrugarh and seized a huge quantity of contraband from them.
