5 killed in 2 separate accidents in Assam
Two separate road accidents in Goalpara district, Guwahati, resulted in the deaths of five people and injuries to 11 others. The first accident occurred when a passenger bus, a four-wheeler, and a two-wheeler collided on NH-17, killing four people and injuring several others. The second accident involved a woman who was hit by a speeding four-wheeler while returning from a field, resulting in her death. Assam man posts video accusing cops of assault, kills self

16 female nominees in the fray for Nov 7 polls

6 held for October 12 Guwahati shootout
