The state cabinet in Guwahati has made several significant decisions, including a hike in daily wages for tea garden workers, reservation of seats for adivasis and tea tribes in state government jobs, and reservation of seats in medical and engineering colleges for students from state board schools. The cabinet has also decided to reconstitute Bajali district and approved the affiliation of multiple colleges by new state universities. Additionally, the cabinet announced that girls scoring a minimum of 60% and boys with 75% aggregate marks in Class XII state board exams will receive a scooty as a reward.from
