An Army soldier from Assam who went missing in the Sikkim floods has been confirmed dead. Over 100 Assam students who were in Sikkim have left and are expected to reach Guwahati. The mortal remains of the soldier have been brought back to his native village. The Chief Minister of Assam expressed his condolences and a senior government team is returning with the students. Some students have decided to stay back as the situation in Sikkim is improving.from
