Four villagers, including two minor boys, were trampled to death by wild elephants in Karbi Anglong's Bormanthi village. The deceased are Kania Toria, Ribika Kerketta, Geseya Kerketta, and Augustin Karmakar. The incident occurred when Kania and Ribika were cutting grass in the Lalubasti area near Bokajan town.
