Another APS officer, Rakesh Das, was arrested by the SIT in connection with the alleged APSC cash-for-job scam. This brings the total count of arrested officers to three. The SIT, formed by DGP GP Singh, is investigating the involvement of 34 ACS and APS officers recruited in 2013 and 2014. During the investigation, irregularities were detected, including a mismatch of handwriting with the answer script.
