Two Assam Police officers have been arrested by the Special Investigation Team (SIT) in connection with the Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) cash-for-job scam. The officers are among 34 individuals whose names were found on a tabulation sheet recovered from the former APSC chairperson. The SIT was formed after the Gauhati High Court's direction, and more arrests are expected. The DGP had previously stated that action would be taken if evidence of wrongdoing was found.from
