The prime accused in the double murder case in Guwahati last year has been granted bail by a lower court. Bandana Kalita, a gym trainer, and her two associates were accused of killing her mother-in-law and husband. The bail was granted due to the non-submission of the forensic report within the specified time. Conditions of the bail include appearing before the police twice a week. The case gained traction after a kidnapping case was filed against Bandana by her mother-in-law's nephew. Bandana confessed to the crime during interrogation and was subsequently arrested.from
