An eight-year-old boy died and nine others fell ill due to food poisoning in Assam's Cachar district. The family members suffered from diarrhea and vomiting after eating pangas fish bought from the local market. The victims were admitted to nearby hospitals, with four in critical condition. A medical team visited the family to investigate the incident and found that they were using unsanitary toilets. The father of the deceased boy stated that the incident occurred at his mother-in-law's house.from
