2 more killed by jumbos, toll 12 since Nov

Two more persons have been trampled to death by wild elephants at Tamulpur close to the India-Bhutan border in lower Assam. With these, the death toll in jumbo attacks has risen to at least 12 in the state since November. The two deceased villagers, Ajoy Minse and Rajesh Tirky, were trampled to death by a small herd of about six elephants on Friday. The incident occurred in Deosunga village, about 22 km from Tamulpur town in lower Assam's Baksa district. The location is barely 2.5 km from the Bhutan border.
