Gloom envelops Manipur as families perform last rites for victims. Mass burials held in Kangpokpi district for burnt victims, including Tonsing Hangsing, a 7-year-old boy with a Kuki father and Meitei mother. Bodies of mother Meena Hangsing, aunt Lydia Lourembam, and others buried in Phaijang village's Martyr's cemetery. Last rites conducted in Kumbong village for Atom Samarendra Singh and Yumkhaibam Kirankumar Singh using a Pangong tree plank. Bodies had been lying in morgues for months, airlifted by the Centre and Manipur government. 61 more bodies to be buried in Chruchandpur next week.from
