Mizoram's newly appointed home minister K Sapdanga begins his fight against drug trafficking with a visit to Champhai district, known for its role in illicit drug trade. Eastern Mizoram is also a major route for smuggled goods from Myanmar. Sapdanga is determined to address this issue and calls for public cooperation. He is accompanied by Lalnghinglova Hmar, MoS for excise & narcotics, who emphasizes the need for unified efforts in the war against drugs.
