A case has been registered by the Arunachal Pradesh Police and an investigation has been launched to find the culprits involved in the killing of Yumsem Matey, a former Congress MLA and BJP poll aspirant. Matey was shot dead by suspected militants on the India-Myanmar border. No arrests have been made yet. The police are looking into both political and personal rivalry angles. Chief Minister Pema Khandu has directed the police to ensure swift action against the perpetrators.from
