Üsounuomia Krotho Day 2019 was observed here today at D Khel Ground, Kohima village.
Large numbers of Üsounuomia from different part of villages attended the programme.
Addressing the programme as special guest, P Khel Council Chairman Kruyie Pienyü urged upon Üsounuomia Krotho to maintain the spirit of oneness and peaceful coexistence for all round development.
He called upon them to stay united, guide and support one another in all perspectives.
He also urged upon the gathering to resolve any issue within Krotho without taking to other platforms in the event of any problem or misunderstanding.
Pienyü urged upon them to uphold the good traditional practices of honesty, care, love, hard work and respect to elders and parents.
He also urged upon the community to strive for excellence and live diligently to brighten the corners.
Khrietso Pienyü pronounced elderly blessing.
The function was chaired by Üsounuomia Krotho President Kelhoulevo Pienyü while welcome address was delivered by Üsounuomia Krotho Vice President Neivotuo Pienyü.
Vote of thanks was proposed by its treasurer Rükratuolie Pienyü.
The programme concluded with a grand community feast.
