The centre in Guwahati is working on a blueprint with the Eastern Nagaland People's Organization (enpo) to solve the demand for a separate frontier Nagaland state by the seven tribes of eastern Nagaland. If enpo is satisfied with the blueprint, the Nagaland Assembly election next month will be allowed to take place, otherwise the demand for a separate state will not be accepted. The mha team coming from the centre includes an advisor from the northeast division of the intelligence bureau, the joint director of the bureau, and the Nagaland director of the northeast division. If the blueprint is not satisfactory, the meeting will not be successful and the Nagaland grassroot people will not participate in the upcoming assembly election.
